- reinforce driving is a PRIVILEDGE and not a RIGHT
- to create safer drivers

- restrict driving to a limited number of hours
- choose safe cars, teens do not need fancy, fast cars
- set a zero tolerance level for alcohol
- have your teen drive like they own the car not the road
